What a ride!

Wednesday night we had quite the storm here! Mom called me and told me we were getting a nasty storm any minute, which is good, because Madeleine and I were watching Noggin. They don't interrupt Noggin for news breaks, so we had no idea. So, as soon as she told me that I went out back to get the cats. As soon as I stepped out there I noticed the ominous black clouds covering the entire eastern sky! The cats were huddled under the lilac tree, and you could see the little speech bubble above their heads when they saw me. "Heyyyyyy! Mom! Thank goodness you're here! We're coming inside!!" :) They were funny. So, I got them in the house and then couldn't help but admire the huge rainbow spanning from the north to the south behind the house. I ran back in and grabbed the camera, and this is what I got.

There's also a cool picture of the tree outside the front door. I was trying to take a picture of the rain, but this picture turned out nicely in its place!

I also grabbed the video camera and took a little video when the rain started to really come down. It was a nice storm!

On another note, I have a couple more pictures of Madeleine here that I took the other day. She's just plain adorable! Not that I'm biased or anything silly like that! Nah!! She's got some food all over her face in the next set of pictures. :) She's a true Leppert, through and through! She loves her food! Unless, of course, she's not in the mood. Then she says, with authority, "I don't want it." And that's that. It's best just to give up at that point!

Well, Father's Day weekend is here. I told George at the beginning of the week that he needs to keep Saturday open so we can celebrate Father's Day. He then started in with asking me what we're doing, where we're going, and a slough of other questions. *sigh* Apparently, he missed the "surprise" part of it all. So, he still does not know what I have planned. Basically, the female Lepperts are surprising the male Lepperts (our husbands!) with a day at Lake Roosevelt for some fishing and bbqing. They all love fishing and eating, so what better way than to take them some place that they love!! And the weather is supposed to be nice, so we might even get to swim, which is a novel idea in the middle of June!!

Okay, it's time to wrap this one up. I'll talk to you soon, but until then, happy Father's Day!!
