It's a Good Day!

Today George came to work and picked me up and took me to lunch. It was nice to just be out with him. We went to Wal-Mart to get paint for the living room, and we were just acting like a couple of kids there! I love that. I love being care-free with George! We changed our mind on the color of paint for the beams... but only slightly! Just a darker shade of the orange I had originally picked out. I am really, super duper excited about painting tomorrow! I have seen the colors and layout in my head for months, so I'll actuall get to see if I make sense outside my head!!

Oh, random thought, but did you know that there's a whole seating area off in the back 40 of Subway at Wal-Mart? Yeah, when you go sit at one of the tables along the wall, look to the west (back of Subway) and it totally opens up to a nice, quaint little seating area. Neither George nor I had ever noticed that before. And you don't see it until you're headed over to get a drink! Weird!!

After I picked Madeleine up from my aunt's today, I took her shopping. We needed to get her some shoes because she's growing so much. I put my purse in the cart at one store, which is when Madeleine realized I had gum in there. So she announced, "I want bubb-oos... gum!" Now, when she says it, she says "bubb-oos" and then pauses before saying "gum". LOL So in every store we went to tonight, including Northtown Mall, she told every single person we passed or talked to that she had some bubb-oos... gum. Everyone just thought she was the cutest thing! I thought she was cute when she unexpectedly fell asleep in her stroller. She was so out of it she was snoring like there's no tomorrow!! Poor girl! She'll learn the fine art of shopping with mommy one day!

Oh, speaking of shopping, I went to 3 different cell phone booths to talk to them about their plans. George and I decided awhile back that when our contract expires on Nov. 15 we are going to shut off our phones. I am insistent that we have cell phones, regardless of how big or small the plan is, and he's finall on board with me. In a nutshell, we are paying out the rear for Sprint compared to the other companies! And Sprint's service has really taken a dive for the worst in the last 6 months or so. So, we'll be without cell phones for a couple months while we decide what company we're going to go with, but it won't be Sprint, I can guarantee that! Ha!

Alright, I'm going to go to bed. We need to be up early for painting tomorrow!

Later, Taters!
