Wreaking Havoc!

All of this snow is proving to be more than we can handle. We've suffered some damage here at our home, but minimal when compared to most!

Part of our pine tree in the front yard came crashing down, taking out a portion of the fence. Luckily, it didn't take out a portion of the roof that it hangs directly above!

We also had the overhang over the back door come crashing down under the pressure. it's only about 3' square, so nothing major there. No windows were shattered, no major damage, and lots of answered prayers! We're hoping and praying that, with our income tax return, we can have an arborist come out and remove both trees from the front yard. We were planning on that since last year, but never had the opportunity to do it. So maybe this year it will happen.

I'm sorry to say that my lilac tree did suffer some damage too. I'll have to wait until Spring to see the full effects of damage there. I love that tree and the way it was shaped, so we'll see.
