Is It a Boy Or a Girl???

You're just as much in the dark as we are right now... we went in for our appt last Tuesday and hit a few bumps in the road.

First of all, the lady that took all of my information was rude. Not just rude, but RUDE. She wouldn't let me tell her what my history was; rather, I think she prefers guessing games. So, instead of letting me tell her why I had a c-section with Madeleine, and why it's not considered a complication medically, she wanted to tell me why it happened. I lost my patience with her and just told her if she'd listen to me we could move forward with the right answers. She did, and we did. Amazing.

There were other rude moments from her, but I'll just leave you with that one.

So, then the ultrasound tech and her assistant came in to do the ultrasound. After a loooooong time of poking around on a full bladder ready to burst, they informed us that they were unable to make a definite call because they weren't sure if we had a swollen clitoris or a tiny penis on our hands. :) Hmph! We don't know yet what we're having. We can try to find out at 24 weeks. George said, "Why don't we just wait until the baby's born to find out?" :) Negative, Ghost Rider!! LOL Nah, he didn't want to wait, either. He was just being funny.

Oh yeah, I will tell you that the first lady we encountered also told me that my dr doesn't know what he's doing because I'm (at the time of the appt) only 17 weeks, not 19 weeks. Um, perhaps she, a technician, should call the dr and tell him that herself. My dr knows what he's doing. Good thing the other 2 ladies were nice. :)

So, when we know, you'll know. :)
