At 30 weeks, I'm feeling VERY pregnant! It might be older age, but this pregnancy feels more like I'm pregnant. :) I'm at the point now where the baby is in my ribs, comfortably for him/her, but not so much for me. However, I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have another little blessing in our lives. Everything will work out. We're very faithful and we're trying to do what we're supposed to... so we know that Heavenly Father will bless us, regardless of the job situation right now.
What is my focus right now? Serving others. Since I was let go from work about 2 weeks ago, I've been praying for opportunities to serve others. So far, they've manifest themselves in ways I'd have never known of otherwise. Even a surprise visiting teaching encounter brought up opportunities! I'm so thankful for the opportunities I've had to serve, and I welcome more!

I love to serve others! Last year at the beginning of the year I realized I didn't know my family as well as I should. So I set out to serve one family member every week. On the weeks I couldn't figure out how any of my family members needed help, I would look at my friends to find a way to serve. I did pretty well. I was able to serve someone every week, until the crazy holidays set in. I also reached my goal of getting to know my family better. I would say that I know each family member better now then at the beginning of 2008.
Serving just gives you a feeling of worth and accomplishment, doesn't it?
