Aaahhhhh.....

This has been a long week!

But to make things better, I've lost 6 lbs by going to the gym for classes after work. They keep me motivated to move and work the weight off. My goal is to be in the 130-140ish range. So I have a ways to go, but it's coming off, slowly but surely!

I had the video recorder out Thursday night recording Madeleine because we were watching Veggie Tales sing-alongs and she was dancing. She loves to dance, so I thought I'd get it on record. She was so funny! She then started playing with my cell phone and was jabbering away to nobody in particular... or so I thought! I heard a voice, so I bent down, took my phone and said, "Hello?" Loe and behold, Madeleine called my boss, Corlyn! LOL She was laughing and told me that Madeleine called her twice! So I talked to her for a minute and then told Madeleine to tell her "Bye bye." Madeleine would have nothing to do with that! She, instead, stood on the computer chair and talked to Corlyn for about 10 minutes. I tried everything to get her to say bye so Corlyn wouldn't be tied up on the phone. Finally, I asked Madeleine if she wanted to go take a bath. She said in the phone, "Paf! Bye!" And she hung up. Oh, by the way, "paf", if you didn't guess, is "bath." I'm working hard on getting her to say her B's.

I got to work yesterday morning and Corlyn said she had a nice conversation with Madeleine. :o) It was pretty funny. Then yesterday after work Corlyn and I hung around and re-rearranged her office. Re-re because we've done it 3 times now. Linda would play no part in it this time bc she's afraid Corlyn's desk won't handle another move. Good thing it did! I adore Linda and Corlyn. Linda reminds me of Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh. She's kind of a worry-wart! But, at her tender, golden age, she packs a punch! She is more quick-witted than most kids my age I know! LOL And Corlyn is hilarious! She's always got something funny to say! And she's easy to get along with. She's like the dream boss. She's firm when she needs to be, but she's down-to-Earth and doesn't let power go to her head.

This morning we all slept in. It was so nice! Madeleine even slept in, so I took full advantage of that. I was having a dream that I won a huge diesel truck and a gigantic boat, when I was suddently awakened by the phone ringing. It was mom. So much for the good dream! LOL Oh well. Reality is far more.....realistic than dreams. he he he
