Happy Sunday...

Well, the weekend is almost over. It was nice while it lasted!

What did we get done over the weekend? Well, George started cleaning up the room that was supposed to be a nursery for Madeleine. A little late on that one! It's all done except for putting the molding back on the walls around the doors and the window, and the floor boards. The floor also needs to be cleaned (that's what he did this weekend), and the border needs to be hung. Oh, and the light fixture needs to be hung too. So really, there's not a lot left to do.

Anyway, we also went up to Suncrest and got a free queen size bed frame and mattress from a friend. We swapped out our old frame with this new one. Let me tell you... what a HUGE difference! Our old frame kept coming apart at the foot of the bed, so our bed would sink down the middle at the end. This new one held up nicely. So we're ever so appreciative for Sandy's generosity!

We also parted ways for a few hours... George and Madeleine visited Grandma and Grandpa Leppert while I stayed home and did homework. I really needed some time to catch up on my reading. So it was time well-spent.

Finally, today we went to church and then to Mike and Paula's to visit with them. George saved the day on a major emergency they were having. It dealt with nearly tearing their dashboard apart in the van, but in the end it all worked out and nothing got broken. Tears were shed, smiles were shared!

Madeleine is in bed. She went all day without taking a nap, and boy was it apparent. She was in meltdown mode about the 2nd hour of church. Nursery wasn't going to happen for her today. She made that evident! So hopefully little miss Cranky will sleep all night! :o)
