I just realized it's been over one month since I posted last on here, so I thought I might take a few minutes out and update you on our family.
Our living room is just awaiting a few finishing touches. George is sanding down the rest of the china hutch and then he will stain it. Then we can put it back in. We also need to get our track lighting and our "boob" light, as we call it, in and we're good. Oh, we call this light a "boob" light because it looks like an upside-down boob. Silly, I know, but it's true. Don't try to tell me you disagree. :O) You know what it looks like.
Madeleine continues to amaze us. She is talking like crazy all the time, and the other night we were watching "Imagination Movers" on TV and she was singing along with the music. She's quite the sponge! Which reminds me... we're really having to watch what we say around her. Not that we say anything particularly bad, but thanks to me, she's learned to say "idiot" quite well. :O) Slow drivers qualify as idiots, by the way. She has also begun saying "Oh my G*d", so if you hear her say that, please feel free to tell her it's "Oh my gosh", or "Oh my goodness". I know where she learned that phrase, and it ticks me off, but the best thing to do is resist reacting. So, bear with us while we correct her phraseology! We've also spoken to the people who frequently say that, and I've asked them to watch their mouths because we do not tolerate that phrase in our home.
We had our family pictures taken yesterday at Bowl and Pitcher. Maryanne's cousin Misty did them, and she always does such a great job! I hope ours turned out okay, considering Madeleine was not pleased about being photographed. At home, she will say "cheeeeeeese" until the cows come home, but we couldn't get much cooperation out of her yesterday. So here's hoping!
Okay, what else... there is so much to talk about, but not a lot of time to do it in. I have a couple papers to write for finals, so I should probably get back to it. I just wanted to let you know what's going on in our neck of the woods!
Talk to you more later!

Yup, I know exactly what you are talking about- we have the boob lights in our house too. Gotta love 'em!
