Fundraising Ideas for MS Bike Ride

So, I was in the shower this morning thinking of random things. One of the random thoughts that came to mind is that we desperately need to start raising money for the Bike For MS ride we're doing in Sept.

Here is the ah-ha moment I had in the shower. So simple, yet so genius! LOL Okay, so I was thinking it would be fun to do a donation car wash in each part of town. If we have a car wash on the north side, one in the valley, one on the south hill, and one in Airway Heights, we'd cover a wide range of people. We would need to make up signs promoting our cause, but this cost would be very minimal. Soap, wax, chamoise cloths, sponges, buckets, hoses and sprayers. Now, I'm sure most of us have this stuff in our homes anyway, so we'd probably be putting out little money. (I like the sound of that!)

I was also thinking we could do one in Omak over Stampede weekend (2nd weekend in Aug), so Jon and Maryanne, if you're going to Omak with us, that would be a GREAT weekend to try to raise funds there too! Thousands of people in town visiting. :)

So, I was thinking that we could do a couple Saturdays in June, a couple Saturdays in July, and a Saturday in August, and we just might have a lot of money raised. Who knows? Friends and family that don't necessarily want to ride the 150 miles could help us either by donating to have their car washed, or if they're REALLY feeling giving, they can help us wash cars!!!
