Memorial Day

Memorial Day is such a great holiday! You get to take some time off work (well, in my case, I chose to work a 1/2 day) and then you get to spend time with family and friends and remember those who have sacrificed for our freedom.

We were able to go to Bowl and Pitcher with the rest of George's siblings (minus Tamara, unfortunately, because she's living in Albuquerque) and just spend a few hours together. We had such a great time! We had a picnic there and then took all of the kids across the suspended bridge. Since we have a lot of smart-aleck members in the family, they thought it would be fun to jump up and down on the bridge. Ugh! I'll walk across it, but I HATE it when people do that. One of my biggest fears is drowning. But, they stopped, and it was all good after that. :) So, here are some pictures from the day.

The following pictures are of Grandma and Grandpa Leppert's headstone. I love the design on it, and the phrases too. They were so close in life, and with the blessings of the Gospel, they can be close and together in death. Grandpa's side of the headstone shows the Leppert Family Crest. Very cool!

This is my friend Camille's daughter, Leah. Camille was like a 2nd mother to me, and was even my escort through the Temple the first time. She told me I was like her daughter that passed, so I like to pay my respects to Leah.

That's my cute girl!!

Madeleine and Meagan together. They're cousins AND good buddies!
