Last night we made a late-night run to Wal-Mart for cat food and a few other necessities. The highlight of going there for Madeleine is looking at the fish, so we did that, as usual. One of the employees came over and asked her if she wanted to feed the fish and the frogs, and she excitedly obliged. That totally made her night!
Then today, I was cranky earlier over something, and Madeleine went to the front yard and picked me a dandelion. She brought it in and said, "This flower is for you, momma. I love you." Awwww... dandelions have never been a favorite of mine, but George told me that his Grandpa Leppert LOVED dandelions to the point that they were his favorite. Since he told me that awhile back, I've grown a new appreciation for them. And now that Madeleine is in the spirit of picking weeds for me and presenting them to me, I have even more of an appreciation for them. She's so sweet, and always thoughtful. We must have done something right...

Dandilions have become beautiful to me too! Sometimes Kambria overloads me with them though! Bless her heart! :)
