Another Monday on the books!

Today was quite a day at work. Three of my co-workers and I decided we're going to join a bowling league in May. They're super fun to be around, so I wouldn't mind doing that with them. I think we'll have a blast doing it. I was actually on a bowling league in high school with my mom, my aunt Debbie and my mom's friend, Dana. We had a blast on our team because we made it fun! Now, I will say that all of the other league bowlers looked at us like we were crazy, but we just made a fun night of it. We had a "happy dance" for when a team member got a strike or spare, and we had different sayings for bowling blunders. My highest score was a 210, which is pretty good if you ask me. I was a member of the 200 club! :o)

So my goal with this team, likely to be named the Ladybugs, is to have fun like old times and just get in some good bowling action! George and I have even talked about getting our own bowling balls now that mom and Mike are turning competitive! So we need to get some more practice in.

You know, I can't help but notice how straight my teeth are getting! Braces work miracles, that's for sure. My teeth have always been crooked and I was finally able to get braces in Dec. 2007. So I've had them on a mere 3 months and my top row is nice and straight. I still have the retainer on the bottom row, and they're pretty straight, except for one tooth that will most likely be pulled. Other than that, my smile is much better than it used to be. It definitely invokes a level of confidence that I have not had in the past! So I spend a lot of time running my tongue along my top teeth. :o) Those of you with straight teeth have probably taken them for granted, but I'm just getting started!

I've somehow come down with this head cold that's been floating around. I've been trying to combat it at work by using tons and tons of hand sanitizer. But I kind of slacked off a bit on Friday... so maybe that's why I have it now. Who knows... It's not as bad as it could be though because I've been combatting it with vitamin C and lots of liquids. Not to mention daytime sinus capsules. Which reminds me... for whatever reason I had the word "corpuscles" stuck in my head most of the day at work. Don't ask me why, for I know not. I guess maybe because it's a fun word to say. See? You said it aloud, didn't you? he he he What fun words we have.

George called my cell phone while I was at work today and sang the song, "I Just Called To Say I Love You" to me. It was very sweet, and a nice ending to my day when I checked the message. He's quite a gem!

Well, I'm going to call it a night... "It's a night!!" LOL That's an inside joke that only my parents and my little brother would understand. :o)

Talk to you more later!
