So, for the last 1 1/2 weeks or so we've been without heat. Yup, the valve on the furnace went out. And what better timing than when the snow decided to fall again. As you may have guessed, it has been FREEZING COLD in our house. And do you want to know what the lowest temperature was?? A balmy 48 degrees. Mmmm-hmmmm! You, too, could have enjoyed this near-tropical paradise with us!
Bro. Ybarra came over today and fixed it for us, and for much cheaper than if we had to hire someone to do the job. Many, many thanks to him! He is the one who installed this furnace a couple years before we bought our home, so he knows it inside and out. It's great to have good friends who will help out at any time! I just hope we're given the opportunity to serve his family soon!
Ahhhhh....... the sweet sound of heat coming on. It's a beautiful thing.
